Legendary Films and director Michael Dougherty, the man who brought us the Halloween classic, Trick ‘r Treat, is now hard at work on his next holiday horror hit entitled, Krampus. You can expect that film for next year’s Christmas season. But until then, the studio has teased us with some Krampus Cards to instill that Christmas fear in one and all. Check them out down below.
Filmmaker Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat) provides horror fans a holiday present – an early glimpse into his dark Yuletide horror film Krampus, scheduled for release holiday season 2015.
As Christmas trees burn and shadows fall, this set of three twisted “Krampus Cards” that showcase the darker side of the holiday and provide a fun, shareable look at Michael’s subversive vision for the film!
Krampus is written by Todd Casey, Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields. It stars Allison Tolman and Emjay Anthony.
Plot Synopsis
Based on the ancient legend of a pagan demon who punishes the wicked, Legendary Pictures’ KRAMPUS, a twisted horror comedy set during the holidays, is written and directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ’r Treat). Co-written by Todd Casey and Zach Shields and produced by Legendary’s Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Alex Garcia, this darkly festive tale of a yuletide ghoul will be released by Universal Pictures.
