Hoping to do the paperwork on an inheritance, a group of friends arrive at an isolated island miles from anyway, and happen upon a team of scientists conducting some pretty unusual experiments. Soon enough, it’s revealed that there are things on this island that will literally make your skin crawl…

This is a really engaging and fun idea for a film, and it works well whether you’re immersed in it with the lights off, or it’s on in the background while you’re tapping away at a laptop game of Partypoker. Prepare to shudder and jump, and feel your skin tingle as the creatures in this film spook seven hells out of you. Whether you’re used to creature-horror or this is something new, you’re bound to enjoy it.

A breakthrough in advanced parasitic research on Cuttyhunk Island gave scientists a jump on human evolution. Using genetically engineered parasites, they were able to increase the physical and mental strength and awareness of their test subjects. When the scientists were unable to control the subjects and the parasites, the island tragically lost three quarters of its population, leading to a massive cover-up.

Twenty years later the experiment threatens the island’s population once again and the islanders must now fight to survive against both the parasites and each other!
