Dark Metal Band MOONSPELL Announce Details of New Album!

Portuguese dark metal band Moonspell have recently announced plans for a new album via Napalm Records. The band has let us in on a few details of the new album entitled, “Extinct”, which is expected to drop in March of 2015. We have the track listing and tour details for you dark metal fans.

MOONSPELL remain both a pioneer of dark metal and a contemporary of the genre’s greats, continuing to deliver increasingly relevant albums 20 years deep into their career. They are known to sign their souls away to the lunar side while recording and they have done just that with their new album Extinct, due out March 2015 via Napalm Records.

Produced by Jens Bogren (Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Opeth and Paradise Lost), the album is a true musical and emotional manifesto.

The band will embark on European headliner tour (Road to Extinction) with special guests Septic Flesh in March of 2015. Also confirmed are two Portuguese dates. March 27th marks a homecoming gig at the prestigious Lisbon Coliseum followed by a much anticipated return to the great city of Porto, on the 28th, at Hard Club.
