Scream Park California Invades Sacramento

Sacramento – Ranked one of the top haunted houses in America by Haunted Attraction Magazine, Scream Park California has recently announced plans to open a location in Sacramento.

This location is set to feature three haunted houses and live music concerts. Their gimmick is simple, make it as horrifying and intense as possible, and take no prisoners. Scream Park California’s owner Nathan Polanco explains, “We had to make it ‘R Rated’, it’s so unspeakably terrifying that we can’t let anyone underage go through.” At past events, customers have been given only one dim flashlight to journey through the horror. Nathan promises, “We have created the most jaw-dropping, horrifying haunted houses in all of California. We’ve invested another half a million dollars to create this Ultimate Halloween Event in Sacramento. If you show up, you had better fasten your seat belt.”

This year, however, Scream Park California may have crossed the line. They have announced plans to construct a 10,000 square foot haunted house featuring Richard Trenton Chase, the famed Sacramento serial killer who brutally murdered six people in 1977. Owner, Polanco states “I wanted to create a haunted attraction around a true story. Richard Chase’s murders were so horrifying that they worked perfectly to create a dark masterpiece.”

According to Wikipedia, Richard Chase was a schizophrenic serial killer who drank his victim’s blood and cannibalized their organs. This does not sound like the work of art that Polanco would have you believe his haunted house is.

For the cost of admission, customers will walk through rooms and hallways inspired by the murders of six innocent men, women and children. The slayings of all six people will be displayed for all to see, dredging up horrific memories that some people would rather forget. Said one resident “I feel bad for the families, they shouldn’t have to relive this. No one should have to face this kind of heartbreak once, never mind twice.”

Scream Park California is set to open in early October, and have announced that they currently have no intentions of making any changes to the Richard Chase haunted house.
