2000 – Sir Alec Guiness, who starred in “Star Wars” and “Murder By Death,” passed away on at the age of 86.

1995 – Clarice Blackburn, who played “Mrs. Johnson” on the daytime nightmare soap opera “Dark Shadows,” passed away at the age of 74.

1991 – Oliver Drake who wrote the screenplay for the film “The Mummy’s Curse,” passed away at the age of 88.

1988 – Ralph Meeker, who played “Bernie Jenks” in the TV movie “The Night Stalker” and appeared in the TV movie “The Dead Don’t Die,” passed away at the age of 67.

1984 – Richard Burton who starred in “The Medusa Touch,” “Bluebeard” and “The Exorcist II: The heretic,” passed away at the age of 58.
