Here’s what Sam had to say about the design.
“I love all of Hitchcock’s work and The Birds is definitely up there with some of my favorite movies of all time. With the print I wanted to try and encompass the saturation of fear in the movie, focusing less on the birds themselves and more on the enclosures (or cages if you will) that humans become trapped in. The movie does a great job of reversing the roles between the birds and humans and I felt like that idea played the most into the terror of the flick.”
