2012 – William Finley, appeared in “Sisters”, “Phantom of the Paradise”, “Eaten Alive”, “The Fury”, “Dressed To Kill”, “The Funhouse”, “Silent Rage”, “Night Terrors”, “The Black Dahlia” and more. He was 71.

2010 – Peter Steele, heavy metal musician from the bands Carnivore and Type O Negative. His music appeared in the films “Night of the Demons” and “Freddy vs. Jason.” He also wrote music for the films “Nosferatu: The First Vampire (TV Movie)” and “Living the American Nightmare (Documentary).” He was 48.

2004 – Henry Holt, who did animation work of the cartoon series’ “Frankenstein Jr.,” “Challenge of the Superfriends” and “The Herculoids,” passed away at the age of 93.

1999 – Ellen Corby, best known for playing “Grandma Walton,” passed away at the age of 87. She appeared in the movies “Bedlam,” “The Bowery Boys Meet The Monsters” and as an extra in “March of the Wooden Soldiers” and “Mighty Joe Young (1943).

1999 – All round entertainer Anthony Newley, passed away at the age of 67. He appeared in “X-The Unknown” and co-starred in the original “Dr. Doolittle.”

1999 – Aubrey Schenk, who produced the films “Voodoo Island,” “The Black Sleep,” and produced and wrote the screenplay for “Frankenstein 1970,” passed away at the age of 90.

1995 – Singer Burl Ives, passed away at the age of 85. He of course narrated “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” (as the voice of “Sam The Snowman,” and appeared in the film “Rocket to the Moon.”

1975 – Fredric March who played “Jekyll & Hyde” in the 1932 MGM version of “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” and “Prince Sirki” in the film “Death Takes a Holiday,” passed away at the age of 77.
