Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’ Film Gets Another New Director!

Josh BooneThe film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand has had it’s share of problems, Warner Bros. has hired its third director in six months for the film.  Sources are saying that Josh Boone (Stuck In Love) has been tapped to do rewrites and direct the epic film.  Read on below for more details.

According to Deadline, The big-screen adaptation of the classic fantasy/horror novel is getting its third director in six months. Josh Boone (Stuck In Love) will rewrite and direct Warner Bros’ The Stand, based on Stephen King‘s postapocalyptic 1978 book. He steps in for Scott Cooper, who was tapped in August to replace Ben Affleck as director and do a rewrite.
