Legendary Pictures and Universal are working on an upcoming supernatural thriller entitled Spectral, and we have received word today of some possible casting news. We have learned that James Badge Dale (Iron Man 3, World War Z) is circling the lead role in Spectral, sources say.
According to The Wrap, After a blockbuster year in which he co-starred in three studio tentpoles, James Badge Dale is in negotiations to star in in Legendary’s upcoming supernatural thriller Spectral.
Nic Matthieu is directing the movie, which Jillian Share and Alex Hedlund are overseeing for Legendary.
The original treatment, which was described as a supernatural “Black Hawk Down,” was purchased from Ian Fried, though George Nolfi wrote the script with an assist from rewriter John Gatins.
