My man Scott W. Perry sent this over to me and I wanted to share! I had the opportunity to have Scott, Heather Drew, Larry Wade Carrell, Alfredo Salvatore Arcilesi and Anne Bobby on The Calling Hours Horror Podcast here on Horror Society, and I think that this is a series that is going to do very well!
“In Fear Of” is an anthology horror series about phobias in which your darkest fears are explored.
“In Fear Of” is a webseries devoted to phobias in the tradition of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, TALES FROM THE CRYPT, TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE, and ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS. There are hundreds of clinical phobias that inhabit us and IN FEAR OF delves into these phobias to showcase our fears and interpret them with the finest independent talent film has to offer. The series has been featured on Fangoria Magazine (Article #1, Article #2), The Huffington Post, Virus Magazine, New York Newsday, as well as several horror sites such as Horror Society and has screened at several film festivals, with an award win for the pilot episode “Monophobia: Fear Of Being Alone.” With horror outlets like Fangoria, horror and fantasy legends such as Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman showing support for the series on their Twitter pages, and with over 150 people involved with the making of this season, including genre legends Debbie Rochon, Anne Bobby, Suzi Lorraine, and more, we have a dedicated team of people who have worked hard in making this season a reality.
To date, 20 episodes have been made, including 14 for the new season that we have been filming this calendar year.
We are seeking funds to complete post-production on several episodes as we wrap principal photography on the season, which includes:
- Music, Sound design and ADR sessions
- Publicity and expanding outreach to the community
- Administrative costs (film festival submission fees)
- Advertising (film festivals, conventions, magazine ads)
- Costs to cover artists for posters, photos, and DVD/Blu-Rays
All of the episodes have been filmed and a few have been completed, but we need an extra boost to complete the entire season in order to pitch to a huge outlet.

THE TEAM
In Fear Of has filmed 14 separate episodes with over 150 cast and crew members putting in their diligent time and effort in making this a memorable series:
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Times are tough. We know. I know. You know. But… we are very close to the finish line and we need that one FINAL push to complete this season. We are so close to the finish line and we need your help to get us past that final hurdle.
If you can’t contribute financially, then you can help spread the word on this series by sharing this page to your friends, your friends’ friends, and even some enemies.
Risks and challenges
Everything in life is a risk, but you’ll never know how far you can go without taking one. In Fear Of has been a monumental risk on me personally but throughout this year, we have successfully shot 14 terrific episodes that have already gained a following in the horror community.
We are still looking for a home and the better the finished product will be on all episodes, the better the likelihood the series will get picked up by a premium online provider and help in getting future seasons made. Any additional funds past our $2000 goal will go strictly towards marketing, advertising, and to help screen the series to the entire cast and crew (did I mention it’s over 150 people total?) in New York City.
We plan on launching a festival and convention run in 2014 to show the series to a rabid horror fan base in the hopes that they will like the variety of episodes done, and how connected we are with our basic fears in life.
