You’re going to start seeing a wealth of news coming out of the Cannes Film Festival here at Horror Society, and we have another story for you. Producer extraordinaire Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions is in Cannes to launch a new international arm to his company and he’s starting with Sinister 2.
Deadline is reporting, Jason Blum‘s Blumhouse Productions is launching Blumhouse International to handle foreign sales on the company’s films. The new division has a worldwide distribution and servicing deal with IM Global and the two will introduce the new venture to foreign distributors in Cannes. Kicking off the slate are Sinister 2, the sequel to last year’s hit horror pic.
Blum has produced such horror hits as the Paranormal Activity films, Insidious and its upcoming sequel, Sinister, the TV show The River, The Lords of Salem, The Bay, Dark Skies, The Purge and a ton of upcoming films.
