There is a new quad UK poster for the upcoming film from director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) for The World’s End which looks pretty cool. I for one can’t wait to see this flick as I’ve loved all the other films with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost that Wright has directed so check out the poster down below.
Look for The World’s End to hit theaters on August 23rd, 2013.
Edgar Wright will be directing from a script by himself and Simon Pegg. The film stars Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Attack the Block), Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, and Eddie Marsan.
Plot Synopsis
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
