1982 – Sam Huntington, stars in the show “Being Human”, and appeared in “Dylan Dog: Dead of Night”, and “Superman Returns”.

1981 – Hannah Spearritt, who appears on the TV series “Primeval” and in the film “The Seed of Chucky.”

1980 – Bijou Phillips, who co-starred in “Hostel: Part 2,” the 2007 remake of “The Wizard of Gore” and “Venom.”

1968 – Traci Lind, appeared in “Spellcaster”, “Fright Night: Part 2”, “Class of 1999”, and “My Boyfriend’s Back”.

1954 – Annette O’Toole who co-starred in “Superman III,” “Stephen King’s It,” and the TV series “The Huntress.” She also played “Martha Kent” on the “Smallville” TV show.

1953 – Producer/director Barry Sonnenfeld, whose work includes “Men In Black I, II & II,” “The Addams Family,” “Addams Family Values” and the TV series “The Tick.”

1930 – Grace Lee Whitney, best known as “Lt. Janice Rand” on the “Star Trek” series as well as in the subsequent films. She also had a bit part in the 1953 version of “House of Wax” with Vincent Price.

1929 – Jonathan Haze, one of the troupe of Roger Corman’s steady actors. He is best known for his role as Seymour in the 1960 version of “Little Shop of Horrors.” His cousin was the famous drummer Buddy Rich.

1883 – Famous silent screen star, the great Lon Chaney, Sr. His credits are far too vast to list here.

1875 – Famed mystery writer Edgar Wallace, who wrote the story on which the screen play for “King Kong” was based.
