1976 – Lukas Haas who appeared in the films “Solarbabies,” “The Lady In White,” “Mars Attacks” and “Inception.”

1952 – Horror writer/historian David J. Skal.

1937 – George “The Animal” Steele who appeared as Tor Johnson in the film “Ed Wood.”

1927 – Peter Mark Richman, who starred in “Friday the 13th part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan” and “Dark Intruder.”

1915 – Barry Nelson, who had the distinction of being the first to play “James Bond” albeit on the little screen in an adaptation of the “Bond” novel “Casino Royale” which appeared on the “Climax!” TV series. He also appeared in “The Shining.”

1917 – William ‘Billy’ Benedict who appeared in the films “Bride of the Monster,” “The Adventures of Captain Marvel,” and “The Magnetic Monsters.”

1913 – Les Tremayne, whose numerous films included “Attack of the B-Movie Monster,” “The Monster of Piedras Blancas,” “War of the Worlds,” and “The Monolith Monsters.” He also appeared as “Mentor” in the “Shazam” TV series and was the narrator of the American version of “King Kong vs. Godzilla.”

1908 – Karl “Killer ” Davis, who appeared in the films “Creature With the Atom Brain,” “Mighty Joe Young” and “The Zombies of Mora Tau.”

1889 – Arthur Lange who composed the soundtrack for such films as the 1929 version of “Mysterious Island,” “The Undying Monster,” and “The Mad Magician.”
