It seems like only yesterday that we brought you the first TV spot for the upcoming Evil Dead remake – wait, it was. That first spot was a little light on footage and more on audience reaction to the trailer. Today, we have the second TV spot for you and if you pay attention, you might just see some new footage in there. Watch the spot below.
Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez and is produced by original director Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce Campbell. The film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore and Jessica Lucas. Look for Evil Dead to hit theaters on April 5, 2013.
Film Synopsis:
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
