I know you’re probably thinking, not another lame zombie movie, but this one looks like it might be worth our time.  Any film that features Danny Trejo as a priest and kick-ass zombie killer is one I want to see.  We have the first trailer for you from Kevin King’s Zombie Hunter, and it looks bad-ass!  The film is described as “A straight shot of pure Tequila, V8 Muscle, Zombies From Hell, Sexy Gals, 80’s Synths, and Trejo”, what more could anyone want.

Kevin King directs from his own script and stars Danny Trejo (Machete), Martin Copping, Clare Niederpruem (Vamp U), Jade Regier, and Amy Savannah.  Zombie Hunter is in the middle of its kickstarter campaign to help fund the visual effects and sound design.  No word yet on an official release date, but we will be following this film so stay tuned for all the updates.

Plot Synopsis:

Zombie Hunter is set in a post-apocalyptic Zombie wasteland caused by the mysterious street drug “Natas”.  We follow one man who has nothing left other than a beat up Camaro and a trunk full of guns and booze.  He runs down Flesh Eaters, hunting for sport and redemption, while also running from his past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, who are running low on resources, he decides to lend a hand. But a surprise attack by the Flesh Eaters forces them on the run and puts the Hunter’s skills to the test.
