Scott B. Hansen is back with another feature film, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what nightmares he brings to life with this picture. Literally everything he touches turns to gold – The Possession Experiment, Bad Candy, The Forest Hills… and soon to be Devour.
Hailed as a sequel to 2021’s Bad Candy, Devour follows the story of “The Virginia Bitches,” an all-female death metal band who are vampires by night and on the verge of stardom. After they save a young girl in the road who is on the run from a mysterious cult, they become trapped in a small town full of cannibals and led by a warlock. As the band members try to survive the night, they must face not only grotesque horrors of a cannibal cult… but also the dark supernatural forces that threaten to consume them all.
Hansen serves as director, producer and co-writer along with writer and executive producer Desiree Hansen. Devour will feature special effects by Wayne Anderson, most known for Strangers Things, IT (remake) and The Nun. So, really, every aspect of this upcoming movie is going to be a work of true art.
