More exciting news from the team producing The Pine Baron.

Fresh off its honorable mention at the Sinister Horror Film Festival, it was recently announced that the upcoming movie is an official selection at the Bloodstained Indie Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan! Keep those laurels coming, and how about that international recognition?

Also on the home front, there has been a number of casting announcements. Confirmed actors include Audrey Kovar, Bryan Enright, Setty Brosevelt, Haley Handson, Gabriel Cymbalista, Rhiannon Enright and Alexandria Watters. They will appear alongside previously announced participant Loren Lepore.

Bryan Enright has established a name for himself in recent years with the lead role 2021’s Hideout and as the mascot in Adam Sandler’s Hustle. The Pine Baron will be his second time in the director’s chair following the short slasher film Cuddlez (2015).

Jonathan Flaa and Constant Hackney have been named as producers.

Synopsis: Urban explorers discover something very evil and very real unbeknownst to anything they have ever seen before. Tensions rise when the leader of the show, William, is trying to save his failing web series and his marriage by taking on one last episode in hopes of reviving all of the failures that led him to this moment in his life. When William and his team arrive at the abandoned location they find a relic. Once the relic has been opened; they release something macabre. All things change when William’s 8 year old daughter, Cassidy, involuntarily finds herself alone, at the house her father disappeared in. With only a camcorder, Cassidy searches for her father in what was once a dilapidated house is now a tomb of all things wicked.

The Pine Baron is still raising funds on Indiegogo until the end of the year. By donating to this campaign, you can earn yourself special thanks in the credits, digital/hard copy of the completed film, posters, associate producer credit and more. Donate here!
