‘CALL OF THE VOID’ Available on VOD October 31, ‘ABACUS’ Follows on November 5
Anatomica Films is excited to announce the Video On Demand (VOD) release of two thrilling new films: ‘CALL OF THE VOID’, available on October 31, 2024, and ‘ABACUS’, arriving on November 5, 2024.
CALL OF THE VOID
Winner of multiple festival awards, ‘CALL OF THE VOID’ is a half silent/half narrated film that explores the dark side of our own guilt, pain, addictions, and self awareness. It explores themes of isolation, existential dread, and the fine line between reality and illusion. The film has already garnered widespread acclaim for its haunting visuals and unsettling narrative.
CALL OF THE VOID will be available on AMAZON VIDEO in the US and UK on October 31, 2024 just in time to provide audiences with a chilling Halloween viewing experience. This will be followed by a release across other VOD platforms into 2025 and a Blu-Ray in 2025.
ABACUS
ABACUS’ is a mind-bending thriller that weaves together aspects of horror, drama, and thriller as three men are placed into a game where one misstep could mean the end of not only their lives but the lives of their loved ones. ABACUS’ will be available on AMAZON VIDEO in the US and UK on November 5, 2024, followed by a release across other VOD platforms and a Blu-Ray in 2025.
Both films highlight Anatomica Films’ commitment to delivering unique, thought-provoking independent cinema, offering audiences a distinct experience outside the mainstream.
“We are thrilled to bring ‘CALL OF THE VOID’ and ‘ABACUS’ to audiences worldwide via VOD,” said J. M. Stelly, Owner of Anatomica Films. “Both films offer something truly special— whether it’s the unnerving psychological tension of ‘CALL OF THE VOID’ or the intricate puzzle that is ‘ABACUS,’ we’re confident that viewers will be captivated by these stories.”
The movies were directed/written and produced by J. M. Stelly. In March of this year Stelly released his film THEY ARE WATCHING, a found footage horror film through TERROR FILMS on VOD. Stelly founded Anatomica Films in 2024 after feeling the need to give his films a home where he could have more control over their release and how they are seen while allowing them to breathe as unique examples of what his outfit can do in the indie world. Stelly is aiming to expand on new productions and releases in the coming year and looks to create more artistically driven horror/thriller/ and arthouse based films.
