Rockit Pig Productions and Cinema Drifter green-light Jason Hawkins' new film Hunters for pre- production. The film, from executive producers Angela Joseph and Jerry Angelo, with Jason Hawkins writing and directing, promises to bring Lovecraftian madness to the Pacific NW in the Fall of 2021.
Jason Hawkins (Netflix' Haunted, as well as All American Bully and The Last Slay Ride) began developing the concept for this film during the 2020 quarantine, and began pitching it in January of 2021. The prolific filmmaker will move directly from the upcoming production The Last Slay Ride into heavy pre-production on this project.
Hunters re-unites Jason Hawkins with longtime collaborator and friend Jason Reynolds (The Blair Witch Legacy, The Bleeding Dark) who returns to acting in a lead role for this film. Additional casting is set to take place in June.
