Concept Media Films announces “She Burns In Hell: Chapter 2”

Carrie White will live again thanks to Concept Media Films. The Ohio-based indie studio is producing a second short-length, fan-film inspired by Stephen King’s Carrie.
First adapted as a film in 1976, the story of a telekinetic teenager ravaging her hometown is beloved by horror fans the world over. CM’s first short, She Burns in Hell: Accounts from Chamberlain, Maine debuted in October 2018. “This second chapter is our gift to further celebrate the lasting 45 year legacy of this iconic movie,” says Ryan Stacy, director and writer, of the fan-films.

Stacy returns to co-producing duties with CM partner Shawn Burkett (the project’s director of photography) and star Brittany Blanton (who returns as Carrie White).
The lead cast is set to feature: Stacy Davis (Midsummer Nightmares) as Margaret White, Mark Justice (Don’t Fuck in the Woods 2), Payton Pleska (Trespassing), Audery Lane (Failing Grace), and Anna Cain (Starlets). The principle cast will also include Teacher Shortage co-stars David E. McMahon, Roger Conners, and Julie Anne Prescott. Concept
Media veteran Kelci C. Magel appears as bully Christine Hargensen, with her Betsy costar Marylee Osborne as cohort Tina Blake. (Specific roles & other cast members to be
announced at later dates.)

Continuing the format of the first chapter, this period piece will take a deeper dive into what drove Carrie to the events of Prom Night. Bringing the costuming to life is designer Shelley Bookheimer (the talent behind the threads on the in-development Starlets, also at Concept Media). Filming begins late spring of next year, with a streaming launch set for fall.
