He Knows You’re Alone Actress Elizabeth Kemp Has Passed Away.

News broke earlier this evening that actress and performance coach Elizabeth Kemp has passed away at age 65. The death of the Florida native was confirmed by her official Facebook fan-page in a statement that reads:

“I am Rosa Asor Morelli, Admin of this page. Dear Hooligan Dreamers, with a heavy heart, I have to share the news of the sudden loss of our beloved Elizabeth Kemp. It is a shock, no doubt, for all of us that have had the privilege to have her as a mentor, teacher, and friend. Elizabeth is family to me and I know that her time here in Italy, and everywhere she’s been teaching, has always been a special mixture of powerful work, fun, experimenting, inspiration, and unconditional love and support. There is so much to say about her genius and heart, but for today, we can connect through her powerful Green Light to honor her gift and generosity and hold a safe, healing space to her soul.”

As an actress, Kemp began her career as Betsy Crawford in soap opera “Love of Life” from 1973 to 1977. She can later be found recurring in “I Can Jump Puddles” and in Emmy Winning Challenger, Welcome to New York and A Crack in Everything – her last credited role. In the realm of horror, she is perhaps most known for co-starring as Nancy in He Knows You’re Alone (1980) and as Virna Nightbourne in The Clairvoyant (1982), as well as her appearance in Murderous Vision (1991). As an acting coach, she holds many accolades including serving as faculty at The Actors Studio since 1995. She also served on the board of directors at the Chelsea Film Festival and founded The Hooligan Dreamers.

A full biography can be found at her official site: https://elizabethkemp.com/.

All of us here at HorrorSociety.com send our condolences to her family, friends, fans and students.
