Davide Melini got in touch with me about promoting media materials from his upcoming horror short film, simply titled Lion. Shot on the Red Epic Dragon 6K in the UK and currently in post-production, Lion follows an alcoholic man, a complacent woman and a troubled child as their silent night is suddenly broken by blood curdling screams. It’s all the start of a terrible nightmare as an unforeseen predator stalks the night.
Cast members include Michael Segal (Age of the Dead), Tania Mercader and Pedro Sanchez. Producers include Luca Vannella (Harry Potter), Alexis Continente (Thor), Vincenzo Mastrantonio (Titanic), Bobby Holland (“Game of Thrones”), Ferdinando Merolla (Hannibal Rising) and Roberto Paglialunga. Yeah, this is going to be a hit!
Written and directed by Davide Melini, Lion is scheduled for release on Halloween 2016.
