The award winning web series “Or So the Story Goes,” is gearing up for its biggest season yet with a recently launched crowdfunding campaign to make it all happen. As an anthology series, each season retells a different tale from classic children’s literature with a dark modern twist, recycling both it’s actors and crew. This season, OSTSG will be tackling Rumpelstiltskin in the form of a teen slasher!
OSTSG started as an outreach program to teach teens film-making and evolved into a full-fledged web series. Until now, production has been made possible using limited equipment and self taught skills to create a series that has gone above and beyond expectations; traveling the US and Canada with panels and screening at various Comic Cons and WebFests selections, as well as two nominations and a win at the 2016 Indie Series Awards. This season, they are increasing their production value and bringing alive the tale of Rumpelstiltskin in a way you’ve never imagined!
