The upcoming new horror film, The Woods from Lionsgate is getting a lot of good word-of-mouth touting it as a very scary film and one that’s not to be missed. Well, I’ve heard that line before and I will have to decide for myself whether that’s true or not. But, judging by the teaser trailer that was released today, it does look pretty darn good. Check out the trailer below!
The film is directed by up-and-commer Adam Wingard (You’re Next, V/H/S, V/H/S/2, The Guest) and written by frequent collaborator Simon Barrett.
Centered on college students on an excursion in the wilderness, The Woods stars James Allen McCune, Callie Hernandez, Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry, Corbin Reid, and Wes Robinson.
Look for The Woods to hit theaters on September 16th from Lionsgate Films.
