1964 – Andy Serkis, actor and performance artist who has appeared in such films as “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, “Deathwatch”, “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers”, “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King”, “King Kong”, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” and more.

1945 – “They’re coming to get you Barbara!” Judith O’Dea who starred in “Night of the Living Dead”, “Living Dead”, and the upcoming “Night of the Living Dead: Genesis.”
1940 – George Takei who portrayed “Lieutenant Sulu” on the original “Star Trek” TV series and the subsequent films and series’ that followed. He also starred in the “Twilight Zone” episode “The Encounter.,” an episode that was shown just once and kept out of the shows syndication run due to it’s racial overtones. It was of course, brilliant.

1973 – Robert Armstrong who starred in “King Kong,” “Son of Kong,” “Mighty Joe Young,” and “The Mad Ghoul,” passed away at the age of 82.
