  • 2013 – Stuart Freeborn, acclaimed makeup FX artist who worked on such films as “The Omen”, “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope”, “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back”, “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi” and many more. He passed away at the age of 98.
  • 2012 – William Hinzman, best known as the “Graveyard Zombie” in the original “Night of the Living Dead”, he also appeared in “The Crazies”, “Knightriders”, “The Majorettes”, “FleshEater”, “Santa Claws”, “Mimesis” and more.
  • 2007 – David Wiley, who appeared in “Friday The 13th Part 3,” passed away at the age of 78.
  • 1995 – Doug McClure, who starred in the films “The Land That Time Forgot,” “At the Earth’s Core” and “Warlords of Atlantis,” passed away at the age of 59
  • 1991 – Dean Jagger, who starred in the films “Revolt of the Zombies,” “X-The Unknown” and “Alligator,” passed away at the age of 87.
  • 1991 – The “Man in the Silver Mask,” El Santo, known as “Sampson” in the U.S. versions of his films, passed away at the age of 66. He starred in the films “Sampson vs. the Vampire Women,” “Sampson in the Wax Museum” and “Santo vs. the Evil Brain.”
  • 1972 – Kenne Duncan, who appeared in the serial “The Adventures of Captain Marvel,” and the films “The Astounding She Monster” and “Night of the Ghouls,” passed away at the age of 68.
