  • 2011 – Ken Russell, director of “The Lair of the White Worm”, “Gothic”, “Altered States”, “The Devils” and more. He was 84.
  • 2010 – Irvin Kershner, director of such films as “Eyes of Laura Mars”, “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back”, “Never Say Never Again”, “Robocop 2.” He passed away at the age of 87.
  • 1988 – The one and only John Carradine, who played role of “Dracula”  in such Universal classics as “House of Frankenstein” and “House of Dracula,” passed away at the age of 82. He started at Universal playing bit parts in such films as “The Black Cat,” “The Invisible Man,” and “Bride of Frankenstein.”
