‘MARTYRS’ Remake to Premiere at Screamfest!

MARTYRS SCREENING MEME

The remake of the French horror film Martyrs will be having its world premiere at the Screamfest Horor Film Festival on October 20, 2015 in Hollywood. I’m a little hesitant to get on board this film until I actually see it only because the original French film was so good, but I’ll save my judgement. Read on for a few more details on the screening down below.

MARTYRS will have its World Premiere at Screamfest Horror Film Festival on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 9:30 pm at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, CA with a Q&A to follow with Troian Bellisario (TV’s “Pretty Little Liars”), Bailey Noble (TV’s “True Blood”) and directors Kevin and Michael Goetz (Scenic Route).
SYNOPSIS: MARTYRS is a remake of a French film, which Anchor Bay will be distributing the film 1st quarter 2016. Ten-year-old Lucie flees from the isolated warehouse where she has been held prisoner. Deeply traumatized, she is plagued by awful night terrors at the orphanage that takes her in. Her only comfort comes from Anna, a girl her own age. Nearly a decade later and still haunted by demons, Lucie finally tracks down the family that tortured her. As she and Anna move closer to the agonizing truth, they find themselves trapped in a nightmare – if they cannot escape, a martyr’s fate awaits them…
