  • 2008 – Writer Donald James whose work included screenplays for the TV shows “The Champions,” “Space 1999,” “UFO” and the theatrical film “Journey To the Far Side of the Sun,” passed away at the age of 76.
  • 2007 – Dabbs Greer, who appeared in the films “It, The Terror from Beyond Space,” “The Green Mile’ and “House IV,” passed away at the age of 90.
  • 2001 – Ken Hughes , who directed “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Night School,” passed away at the age of 79.
  • 1999 – Rory Calhoun who appeared in the films, “Hell Comes To Frog Town,” “Night of the Lepus,” and “Motel Hell,” passed away at the age of 76.
  • 1998 – Jerome Bixby who wrote the screenplays for the films “It The Terror From Beyond Space,” “Curse of the Faceless Man,” “Fantastic Voyage,” and many TV series including “Star Trek,” and “The Twilight Zone,” passed away at the age of 75.
  • 1978 – Arch Hall, Sr., who appeared in the films “Eegah,” “The Thrill Killers,” and was technical director on the film “Werewolf of London,” passed away at the age of 69.
  • 1970 – Ed Begley, who co-starred in the film “The Dunwich Horror” and episodes of the TV seies’ “The Invaders” and “The Wild Wild West.”
