- 1981 – Jessica Alba, who appeared in the short lived TV series “Dark Angel,” the horror spoof, “Idle Hands,” as “The Invisible Girl” in “The Fantastic Four” films and the American version of “The Eye” as well as “Machete”, “Machete Kills”, “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” and “The Veil.”
- 1974 – Penélope Cruz, who starred in “Vanilla Sky” and “Gothika.”
- 1971 – Bridget Moynahan, has appeared in “I, Robot”, “Prey” and “Battle Los Angeles.”
- 1967 – Kari Wuhrer, appeared in “Swamp Thing (TV Series)”, “Thinner”, “Anaconda”, “Malevolent”, “Eight Legged Freaks” and more.
- 1965 – Steve Blum, whose tremendous body of voice-over work includes “Wolverine” in “Wolverine and the X-Men,” “Super Hero Squad,” “Hulk vs.” and numerous video games.”
- 1957 – Composer Christopher Young, he scored many genre films including “The Dorm That Dripped Blood”, “A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge”, “Invaders from Mars”, “Trick or Treat”, “Hellraiser”, “Hellbound: Hellraiser II”, “The Fly II”, “The Dark Half”, “Species”, “Urban Legend”, “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” and over one hundred more.
- 1929 – The one and only “Morticia,” the late Carolyn Jones. Her films included “House of Wax,” “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” and Tobe Hooper’s “Eaten Alive.”
- 1908 – Carl Laemmle, Jr., the son of Universal founder Carl Laemmle. He produced many Universal films including “The Werewolf of London,” “The Raven,” and “The Bride Of Frankenstein.”
- 1906 – Writer Pierre Boileau. Many of his novels were adapted to the screen, such as “Diabolique,” “Vertigo,” “Eyes Without a Face” and “Body Parts.”
- 1878 – Lionel Barrymore who appeared in the films “Mark of the Vampire,” “The Devil Doll,” and the original 1929 version of “Mysterious Island.”
