Launched last year via www.greatbritishghosts.com -but due for official release this year via Geeky Comics comes ‘Malevolents’ – A selection of short ghostly horror stories with elements of both real life horrific ‘haunting’ accounts and fictitious storylines.
Book 1 ‘Click Click.’ Four old school friends spend one chilling night in London’s most haunted house as part of a dare, recounting an ancient tale of malign powers that stalk the deepest re-cesses of the mind, demanding your attention, The Malevolents.
Created by Thom Burgess owner of www.greatbritishghosts.com, has worked alongside the talents of illustrator Joe Becci to create a comic that intends to recreate some of the elements of the classic ghost story, harking back to the days of M R James. But within the medium of a comic. Concentrating on truly chilling illustrations and a tale which will hopefully leave you fearful of switching off that light.
Book 2 is due for release Summer 2015, with Book 3 by end of the year. Prior to the launch of sister comic project ‘Ghoster’
