Last month this movie won the “Most Anticipated Film of 2015” award in our annual ceremony and at the tail end of this month it’s dropping its first trailer!
Gore Orphanage was written and directed by Emily Lapisardi with executive producer Cody Knotts. Knotts is well known amongst indie horror fans for previous features Lucifer’s Unholy Desire, Breeding Farm and Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies. This time around he and Lapisardi have teamed up to bring a popular Ohio urban legend to life with Gore Orphanage. After discovering a road sign for Gore Orphanage, they wove together an intricate and hair-raising story revolving around a children’s orphanage, its destruction in a fiery blaze and the ghosts of the victims who still wander the property.
Gore Orphanage is set to star Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3), Rick Montgomery Jr. (Dying 2 Meet U), Nick LaMantia (All Saints Eve), Keri Maletto, Bill Townsend, Emma Smith, Nora Hoyle and Brandon Mangin Jr..
Having grown up in Lorain County with all the legends of Gore Orphanage, looking forward to this.
