“CHILL” Finally Lands Distribution, Releasing This Fall.

Well, it’s about time!

For the last three years I’ve been supporting an independent feature film titled Chill because I knew it was deserving of the support. In return, the team behind the movie let me review it first and I said positive things such as, “[it could] revitalize the murder-mystery subgenre and bring it back to prominence,” and “[it could] be groundbreaking as far as this subgenre goes.” After a handful of successful public screenings and a dozen positive film reviews…

Chill has officially landed a distribution deal!

The announcement became official in late January, but sources around the flick are keeping things somewhat mum as promotional materials and the release date have not been finalized. What I can confirm, though, is that Chill was picked up by Alchemy Werks. Currently, Alchemy Werks is eyeing a Fall 2015 release for this movie, which is being retitled as Chill: The Killing Games. This title may see release through Alchemy’s horror-branch, Chemical Burn, as it is the premiere outlet for independent horror.

More on this development coming soon. Follow Chill: The Killing Games on Facebook for all future announcements: https://www.facebook.com/ChillTheMovie.

Chill: The Killing Games is directed by Meredith Holland and Noelle Bye, who also co-produced and co-wrote the indie feature along with Roger Conners. Conners plays the lead role of Kyle, and is supported in this flick by Brad Arner, Janine Sarnowski, DJ Remark, Angelia DeLuca, Bella Sin, Jason Orr, Erinn Bakun, Rick Montgomery Jr., Benny Benzino, and Kelly Joann Rogers.

“When a group of college students attempt to turn an ill-fated campus tradition into a viral-game, the players become trapped in an all too real battle for survival against a violent masked assailant.”
