  • 2009 – Ricardo Montalban passed away at the age of 88. He played the title role in the “Star Trek” film, “The Wrath of Khan,” and in “Escape From” and “Conquest of” the “Planet of the Apes.”
  • 2007 – Tudor Gates, who wrote the screenplays for the films “Twins Of Evil,” “Lust For A Vampire” and “The Vampire Lovers,” passed away at the age of 77.
  • 2006 – Shelly Winters, who starred in the films “What’s The Matter With Helen?” “Who Slew Auntie Roo?” “The Poseidon Adventure” and played “Ma Parker” on the “Batman” TV series, passed away at the age of 85
  • 2005 – Jack Kine who did special effects for British TV series’ such as “Doctor Who” and “Quatermass,” passed away at the age of 83.
  • 2004 – Uta Hagen, who co-starred in the film “The Other,” passed away at the at the age of 84.
  • 2004 – Ron O’ Neal, best known for his role as “Superfly,” passed away at the age of 66. He also appeared in the films “When A Stranger Calls” (1979), “Death House” and “Puppet Master 5.”
  • 2000 – Comic book artist Pat Boyette, who wrote, directed, produced and appeared in the films “Dungeon Of Harrow” and “The Weird Ones,” passed away at the age of 76.
  • 1962 – Ernest Thesiger, who appeared in the Universal classics, “The Old Dark House,” “Bride of Frankenstein” and the film “The Ghoul” with Boris Karloff, passed away a day before his 82 birthday.
  • 1957 – Humphrey Bogart, who starred in the film “The Return of Dr. X,” passed away at the age of 57.
