- 2004 – Uta Hagen, who co-starred in the film “The Other,” passed away at the at the age of 84.
- 2004 – Ron O’ Neal, best known for his role as “Superfly,” passed away at the age of 66. He also appeared in the films “When A Stranger Calls” (1979), “Death House” and “Puppet Master 5.”
- 2000 – Comic book artist Pat Boyette, who wrote, directed, produced and appeared in the films “Dungeon Of Harrow” and “The Weird Ones,” passed away at the age of 76.
- 1962 – Ernest Thesiger, who appeared in the Universal classics, “The Old Dark House,” “Bride of Frankenstein” and the film “The Ghoul” with Boris Karloff, passed away a day before his 82 birthday.
- 1957 – Humphrey Bogart, who starred in the film “The Return of Dr. X,” passed away at the age of 57.
