  • 1996 – Lew Ayres, who appeared in the films “Salem’s Lot,” “Damien: Omen II” and as “President Adar” on the TV series “Battlestar Galactica,.” passed away at the age of 88.
  • 1996 – .Jack Nance, who starred in “Eraserhead,” “Ghoulies,” the 1988 version of “The Blob” and in the TV series “Twin Peaks” passed away at the age of 53.
  • 1979 – Producer K. Gordon Murray, who was responsible for bringing many Mexican films to America, including “Samson vs. the Vampire Women,” “The Brainiac” and “Santa Claus,” passed away at the age of 57.
