TERROR FILMS RELEASING has teamed with writer / director Dean Jacobs to release his horror film, “THE TRIP”.
Starring Luke Edwards, Evan Sloan, Calvin Dittmore, and Jacobs himself, the film follows four childhood friends who take a weekend trip to a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania.
Expecting a relaxing weekend of excess, the group soon finds out the house has something else planned.
Also rounding out the cast are horror alumni Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Hannah Fierman (V/H/S), Lori Cardille (Day Of The Dead) and John Amplas (Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Creepshow).
Jacobs shared his thoughts about the making of the film:
“THE TRIP is one part slasher film, one part haunted house story, with just a dash of hallucinogenic drugs. The horror genre is unlike any other genre in film. There are no rules and no limitations. And the fans are rabid. It was always my intention for my first feature to be horror. ‘THE TRIP’ is an homage to George A. Romero and to the long line of low budget indie horror films that came before, paving the way for future generations of filmmakers.”
