Upcoming Horror Film SHINGLES Tapes CarousHELL Director Steve Rudzinski

Steve Rudzinski has been tapped to direct a feature horror anthology called Shingles!

Shingles is a book series that has been ongoing for years with a fairly large fanbase and can best be described as an adult-level Goosebumps. The multiple authors of the Shingles series have banded together to write a screenplay which adapts several of their book stories into one singular film. The film will have three core stories with additional adapted stories serving as the wrap around. This thing is going to have plenty of blood, monsters, and jokes.

The group of writers, also known as part of the group Authors & Dragons, all agreed that long time cult film director Steve Rudzinski was the perfect choice to adapt their words to the screen. Coming off the tails of CarousHELL and the soon to be released CarousHELL the 2nd, Steve is no stranger to the weird and bloody so what he does with an anthology series is sure to please.

Shingles is currently running a major crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo looking for preorders and support. For the full $60,000 they will deliver the full original script which includes a major slasher story in an amusement park; but for $45,000 they have a slightly more affordable B-script that otherwise brings audiences what they want from this kind of film. Hopefully folks can band together to get this to the full amount, because there is no question how much Steve Rudzinski can deliver with the right resources.

  1. The Shingles books have been great. I loved CarousHELL. Can’t wait for the synergy of the creative minds behind both in movie form.
