Earlier this year, indie studio Video McNasties released Alley Trash, an interactive video project which was inspired by the old Choose Your Own Adventure book series. Much like the books, the viewer can navigate through the story by picking between different options at certain plot points. It features a slew of returning characters from previous Video McNasties creations, such as Blackbags (www.imdb.com/title/tt2547118/) and Banana Seat Bloodbath (www.imdb.com/title/tt4633226/), and you might not mind wasting 10-15 minutes of your time on it.
It’s best viewed on a computer as opposed to a mobile device, to ensure there are no complications moving between links. There are even a linear “director’s cut,” as well, in case people are curious about how the story would unfold in a more conventionally cinematic fashion.
