The first official teaser trailer for the upcoming Christmas themed slasher film STIRRING has premiered!
STIRRING is the second feature film from independent film company Fright Meter Films and writer/producer/director Troy Escamilla. His first feature film Party Night was completed last year and premiered at Motor City Nightmares in Detroit this past April. It has since been accepted into several other festivals (Days of the Dead, San Antonio Horrific Film Fest, Horror Avenue Film Fest) and won Best Actress and Best Special Effects at the Crimson Screen Horror Film Festival. Now Escamilla is eager to bring horror fans another blood soaked love letter to the genre he knows and loves.
STIRRING can best be described as a mix of Black Christmas, To All a Goodnight, and Scream and includes a cast of several familiar faces including horror icon Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre), Helene Udy (My Bloody Valentine), Kaylee Williams (Model Hunger), and Mel Heflin (Katherine).
Plot: Students attending a Christmas party at a sorority house with a sinister past are stalked by a bloodthirsty killer disguised as Mrs. Claus.
