Damn, the Halloween season flies by too fast. It feels like I just started posting contests for tickets to the Logan Theatre’s Horror Movie Madness, and now this is already the second to last one. This weekend, the theatre will be screening John Carpenter’s Halloween as part of their Horror Movie Madness series running October 27th-31st. One winner will get the chance to see the movie on the big screen on Friday, October 27th at 11pm.
All you have to do is email me at winloganhorror@gmail.com with “Halloween Contest” as your subject line. Be sure to include your name as it appears on your ID (you’ll need your ID to get your tickets from will call) and if you’re bringing a plus one. One winner will be notified via email when the contest closes on Thursday night.
Fright fans also should make sure to come out to the Logan for a special screening of Nosferatu while it screens October 27th and 28th. The screening will feature a full, authentic silent film experience enhanced by Chicago’s foremost photoplay organist, Jay Warren, who brings all the color, excitement, and glamour of the silent film era back to life with his original scores for the silver screen. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased here.
Be sure to check out the Logan Theater’s website here for more information on each of the films screening during their Horror Movie Madness series.
