Social and cultural topics are at the forefront of most news stations, especially due to the aggressive political climate in America right now. It was only a matter of time before someone, somewhere took this theme and turned it into a horror movie. Well, it looks like that film-maker is Mississippi native Chris Moore and he is currently at work on a new film titled Triggered. Oh, yes. Thin skinned sheeple – beware. This one’s coming for you!
Described as Gone Girl meets Heathers, Triggered is a dark-comedy horror film that’s nearing the end of casting and is setting its sight on a principal photography start date in the near future. While not much else is known about Triggered right now, I’d like to say that I’m extremely excited to see how this one turns out. I hope that Chris Moore has the skills as a writer and director to make this one playful and sarcastic instead of downright insulting.
