Presented by Gorilla Tango Originals, Assault on the Grindhouse is a variety show for your favorite horror films. Grindhouse’s three improvisers take a 30s, 40s, or 50s B-horror film and act out what they think the film might be based on the title and the era its from. All the while, the film screens behind them and they use that as inspiration for the rest of the show.
It’s part What’s Up Tiger Lily and part Rocky Horror as our actors provide new scenes, foley, or music for the duration of the entire film as you see it screen behind them. Every Thursday at 9:30pm, for the next three weeks, Grindhouse will be taking on a different “classic” horror film.
