CHICAGO! Don’t miss the Chicago Premiere of Winners Tape All

Screening as part of a celebration of VHS

One of the funniest movies I had the pleasure of seeing last year was a little film called Winners Tape All: The Henderson Brothers Story. I had extremely high hopes for the film because I’m a fan of the filmmaking team of Justin Channell, Zane Crosby, and Joshua Lively who were the guys behind the hilarious zombie comedy Die and Let Live. Plus, the movie is a celebration of the VHS horror world. Winners Tape All didn’t just meet my expectations, it exceeded them.

I wanted to bring this movie to Chicago as soon as I could to share it with the horror and VHS fiends in town. The timing finally worked out and here we are. I decided to turn the night into a VHS spectacular. So, we’ll also be watching a film that never made it off the VHS format onto to DVD or BluRay, Spookies.

We will be hosting this premiere screening at Bucket O Blood Books and Records this Friday, May 26th at 7pm. Bucket O Blood also happens to be one of the last places in Chicago where you can buy VHS tapes. They’ve got a stacked selection of horror and sci-fi tapes sure to satiate fans. They also will be selling copies of the Spookies soundtrack on vinyl. Make sure to stop by early so you can get some shopping in. Bucket O’ Blood Books and Records is located at 3182 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618.

This party is BYOB. Huge thanks to Justin Channell for letting us screen his amazing film!
