Pitchfork is officially available on DVD courtesy of Uncork’d Entertainment. This is the perfect partnership, in my opinion, because Pitchfork was one of the best slasher flicks of 2016 and Uncork’d Entertainment is one of the leading sources in quality horror film distribution.
One of the things Pitchfork was really praised for was its homages and nods to old-school slasher flicks of the 1980’s. So, in a bid to capitalize on its audience’s love for all things nostalgic, a series of character posters has been unveiled and you can find all of the artwork below. What’s great about these posters is you get a little more information about each of the lead and supporting players, much more than you would from a standard synopsis.
Speaking of a synopsis, Pitchfork‘s reads: “Having recently shared a life-changing secret with his family, Hunter recruits his friends to come with him from New York to the farm where he grew up as he faces his parents for the first time. As the college students enjoy the fresh air of Michigan farm country, an older, more dangerous secret slowly emerges. While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger.”
Written by Darryl F. Gariglio and directed by Glenn Douglas Packard, Pitchfork stars Daniel Wilkinson, Lindsey Nicole, Brian Raetz, Ryan Moore, Celina Beach, Keith Webb, Sheila Leason, Nicole Dambro, Vibhu Raghave, Rachel Carter, Andrew Dawe-Collins, Carol Ludwick, Derek Reynolds, Addisyn Wallace and Anisbel Lopez. Packard and Gariglio also produced alongside Shaun Cairo and Noreen Marriot.
