Actor Larry Zerner announced on Twitter yesterday, April 5th 2017, that actress Gloria Charles has passed away. Her death occurred back in December 2016, according to Bloody Disgusting, attributed to an unspecified illness that required around the clock care. Zerner and Charles co-starred in Friday the 13th Part 3, which debuted at #2 at the box office in 1982.
Aside from playing Fox in Friday the 13th Part 3, Gloria Charles also appeared in Brewster’s Millions, a handful of episodes of soap opera “Falcon’s Crest,” and as a background player in other hits such as National Lampoon’s European Vacation, “The A-Team,” and “The Jeffersons.” In 2009 and 2013 she returned to all things Jason Voorhees by providing commentary in documentaries His Name Was Jason and Crystal Lake Memories.
I’m sure her loved ones are still dealing with her loss to this day, so all of us at HorrorSociety.com send them our condolences to her family, friends and fans. May she rest in peace!
So, they still have no idea what the cause of death was? Strange and tragic.
