The filmmakers behind the new horror hit, THE BARN, have released a new commercial advertising the stacked 2-disc DVD available now for the film. Just one look at this spot tells you all you need to know about the hype surrounding the film. Even the commercial feels like a spooky slice of nostalgia much like the film itself. Be sure to stop by The Barn Merch Store to pick up your copy (yes, there is a VHS!) today.
Now, for those Horror Society fans in Chicago, we are proud and excited to present a special FREE screening of the film, The Barn, on Friday, February 24th at 7pm at Bucket O Blood Books and Records. The venue is located at 3182 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618.
In addition to the amazing free screening, the director of the film Justin Seaman and the film’s cinematographer Zane Hershberger will be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the movie. From IMDB The Barn is:
Its Halloween 1989, best friends Sam and Josh are trying to enjoy what’s left of their final Devil’s Night before graduating high school. But trouble arises when the two pals and a group of friends take a detour on their way to a rock concert, finding an old abandoned barn and awakening the evil inside. Now it’s up to Sam and Josh to find a way to protect their friends and defeat the creatures that lurk within “The Barn”.
Make sure to stop by early to shop around at one of the coolest stores in the world for genre fans! There will be a donation bar all night and the party is BYOB as well. Stick around after the film, as we’ll be watching the original Night of the Demons, just for fun with the gang. We’re going to party like it’s Halloween in February!
Big thanks to the filmmakers for letting us screen the film, and thanks Justin, Zane, and Ari for coming out and joining us. For more info and to RSVP for the event click here.
