WHAT IS INTO THE BLACK?
Into the Black is an operatic, rock n’ roll vampire film. It is a fever dream, a midnight spookshow, and a raucous fright fest that takes bloodsuckers back to their vicious and salacious roots.
THE STORY — Dean and Michael, two childhood friends, are struggling to come to terms with adulthood. Dean’s wild ways complicate Michael’s life, as he’s starting to settle down with his longtime girlfriend, Kim. One night on Michael’s birthday, after a bar brawl, Dean meets Angel — a hypnotic stranger and brings her home, where he is attacked and infected.
The storyline is focused on the strain on their relationships, the emotional effect of their dangerous journey, and the suspense of Dean’s slow, oncoming death as he falls further victim to the bloodlust of the vampiric disease.
It’s a race against time as they hunt border-towns for answers, coming up against intense darkness and evil.
This is a story about fighting for what you love and the difficulty of sacrificing for your friends (or sacrificing your friends).
