Where Are They Now? : Jennifer Runyon

Now she’s Jennifer Runyon-Corman (Corman as in Roger Corman, but we’ll get to that later). Jennifer was born in Chicago, Illinois in April of 1960. At age 20 she booked her first role, a starring one to boot, in Christmas slasher film To All A Goodnight. The film follows sorority girls and their boyfriends as they’re dispatched by a Santa costumed killer. Jennifer played the role of Nancy and To All A Goodnight had a small theatrical release in 1980 before heading to VHS. Scorpion Releasing re-released the movie on DVD in 2014. Following that start at success, she landed a recurring role on soap opera “Another World,” playing the part of Sally Frame from 1981 to 1982. Though she continued acting, nothing is worth mentioning besides her featured extra spot in 1984 megahit Ghostbusters.

When her career caught a second wind, it was in the realm of comedies and television. She appeared in The In Crowd in 1988, held a supporting role in 18 Again, and played the iconic part of Cindy Brady in A Very Brady Christmas (1988). Jennifer also reoccurred as Gwen Pierce on “Charles In Charge” from 1984 to 1987. Her other television roles during this time include guest spots on “Beverly Hills 90210,” “Booker,” Murder She Wrote” and “Quantum Leap.” As luck would have it, her last on screen role was the lead in 1993’s horror-scifi flick Carnosaur. After that, she quietly retired from acting in hopes of pursing a normal life outside Hollywood.

So, where is Jennifer Runyon Now?

Jennifer married basketball coach Todd Corman, becoming the niece-in-law of legendary cult producer Roger Corman. Jennifer and Todd have two children. 22 years after her retirement, she returned to the world of acting by playing the supporting character Carol Brickman in Silent Night, Bloody Night 2: The Revival (2015). In 2016, she appeared as Melanie in the “Epidemic” segment of anthology Terror Tales. She’s currently slated to appear in a small capacity in Bloodsucka Jones vs. The Creeping Death in 2017. Ms. Runyon-Corman also produces and co-hosts her own show, “F.L.U.I.D..” Welcome back!
