President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger, Lloyd Kaufman, is scheduled to appear at the “Paradise City Comic Convention” this weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!
Lloyd Kaufman is best known for directing such Troma cult classics such as The Toxic Avenger franchise, Class of Nuke ‘Em High, Tromeo and Juliet, and more. His film career has spanned nearly half a century, and additionally, Kaufman has acted in nearly 300 productions, while having directed, written and produced a combined 191 films, shorts, and television shows.
Mr. Kaufman has won numerous awards such as three Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival, the Raindance Film Festival, and from the New York City Horror Film Festival.
For Troma fans in the Fort Lauderdale-area, Lloyd Kaufman will be appearing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Troma Entertainment booths located at # 500 and 502!
